The fifth and sixth series of DC Superheroes got a little confusing. Mattel released two series of Superman related figures back-to-back, but because of weird case mixes and release times, it was tough to tell where one series ended and the next began. As near I can tell, series 5 gave us Superman and Bizarro (re-releases), Black ‘S’ Superman re-release, Steel, Parasite, Supergirl (Kara Zor-El), and Doomsday (repaint). This series also marked the transition from the old orange packaging to the new purple look. Also, gone forever are the comic pack-ins in lieu of character-specific dioramas.
